16 with friendly stops - I am probably overly hopeful about my ability to lead this ride at 16, however, I'd really like to zoom right along so if I can muster 16, that's my goal.
Ride Type:
Re-group: you should be able to ride 16mph on the flats, but we will re-group when hills separate us. There's only a couple of hilly sections.

Description:
NOTE THE START: Safeway 63rd St and Andresen and the TIME: 1pm. We ride the whoop-de-doos on the Padden path and then some hills and pleasant leg-stretcher rural roads toward Hockinson before heading south on the old North Ride route. Stop at on of the Hockinson Markets about mile 16. Back before dark!

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the ride to sign up and be a part of the announcements and safety briefing.
Riders are expected to have read the club's Safe Riding Policy and be familiar with club Ride Style Definitions. Please direct questions or concerns to the ride leader or our club Road Captain.
Helmets are required. Lights (front and rear), Road IDs, cell phones, tool kit, mirrors, and pump are recommended. Check your bike and gear before you come to make sure it's in good working order. Seriously.
Ride leader will bring maps/cues to the ride. You can see our route online at the Ride With GPS link above. Riders should be able to maintain the stated pace, but this is a "No rider left behind group." Please communicate with your leader if you decide to go off route.
