Distance(s):
12 miles or 6 miles NOTE: start at the Burnt Bridge Creek Trailhead on Devine.
Terrain:
Minor hills - actually almost totally flat in the first 6 miles which loop us back to the start and you can stop there or continue. In the last 6 miles we explore the whoop-de-doo pedestrian/bike bridge over SR 500 and also a road north of the trail - both provide a wee bit of "climbing opportunity" . Do not panic! This is a GROUP ADVENTURE, we stick together, and these "hills" are actually short inclines.
Elevation Gain:
334 ft
Pace:
12 (Casual) Note: this is the maximum speed on the flats, no wind. Speedier buddies are always welcome, but this is a friendly, slow ride to encourage our newer riders.
Ride Type:
Burnt Bridge Creek Trail - we ride most of the eastern end of it.
Description:
This is a social ride on the Burnt Bridge Creek trail, but we'll venture off of it too so you can learn how it connects with other fun options. We'll see SECRET STUFF: secret garden, paths, apple trees - all sorts of good stuff! This is a group ride; nobody left behind. If you have any concerns, contact me. Note: please air up your tires if you haven't ridden in a few days. Bring your water bottle and a snack!

Expectations:
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the ride to sign up and be a part of the announcements and safety briefing.
Riders are expected to have read the safe riding policy and direct any questions or concerns to the ride leader.
Helmets are required. Lights (front and rear), Road IDs, cell phones, tool kit, mirrors, and pump are recommended. Check your bike before you come to make sure it's in good working order.
Riders should be able to maintain the stated pace, but this is a "No rider left behind group." Please communicate with your leader if you decide to go off route.
Remember - we want to be awesome representatives of the cycling community in Clark County and spread a love and respect for our great sport by obeying all traffic laws and riding in a safe and courteous manner. Ride safely and have fun!
