DETAILS
You’ve heard this quote:
If you give a person a ride, you transport them for a day. If you teach a person to ride a bike, they can change the world. ---OK, I tweaked the quote a tad…
WORLD Car Free Day is Thursday, 9/22. Car free transportation is an often overlooked option, but why not consider it when it gets the job done as well or better than driving? Let’s do it a day early!
Our Wednesday loop looks at one reason we default to driving – bike infrastructure can be ridiculously absent when trying to cross big streets. We often travel out of our way to ride safely over them. We’ll also visit CTran, a tired rider’s savior when it’s too dark/wet/cold to get home.
What’s a great way to end our ride? Ghost Runners! They have delish bevs and food.
Note: C-Tran route 25 serves this point of Minnehaha; that stop is ½ mile from Ghost Runners.
****Make sure you bring your lights and make sure they are fully charged****
