WSDOT I-205 bike path repair and clean-up
Jeff Wills
I looked the repair over after work- the repair people were all gone. The transition from concrete to asphalt looks much better now than it did previously. They left a little mud on the path, but it's not bad at all.

The leaves haven't started to fall yet, so I'm trying to plan out what would be the best day to do the biannual bike path clean-up. I think that Sunday, November 11th is a good day to aim for- does anybody have a better idea? I want to get moss scraped off the asphalt and leaves raked and blown before they get too wet and slick.

This work will provide a smooth transition for the path user and require a daytime closure to complete the work. Crews also add asphalt curb, which will channel storm water more effectively during heavy rainstorms.
