Clay Kind Outstanding Ride Leader Award

This award is name for Clay Kind who led an estimated 3500 VBC rides over more than 38 years.  Clay was instrumental in getting many, many new riders to join the bike club and become enthusiastic, safe bicyclists.  He welcomed new riders, encouraging them and instructing them in bicycle etiquette and safe riding practices. No rider is left behind on a Clay led ride.

The award is given to the Ride Leader who leads the most rides in a calendar year.
