Details
Your favorite "recovery" ride, but this time on a THURSDAY rather than a Monday. Faster riders are welcome, but the main group will stick to the 16-17mph pace.
Travels from Salmon Creek towards Battle Ground, using lightly traveled country roads, then climbs the infamous Heart Attack Hill, then continues north past Battle Ground Lake State Park. Loops back to Salmon Creek along some more lightly traveled backroads. Those in need of additional climbing could substitute the climb over Mt. Vista on NE 29th Ave. for the rolling hills of NE 50th Ave.
Regroup Points
Brief stop at the top of "Heart Attack Hill" (corner of NE 167th Ave & NE 219th St) if necessary to keep the group together.
Longer break at Battle Ground Lake State Park which offers restrooms and water.
