DETAILS
All too often we get into a route rut - doing the same routes over and over. This series will try a wide variety of routes from the Club's RWGPS collection. We will not duplicate any rides during the season. Who knows what these routes are like, so be prepared for an adventure.
These will be ReGroup ride, so we will wait for people at the top of hills or if they get caught behind a traffic light / stop sign. I will be holding the posted pace. Faster and slower riders are welcome, but be prepared to navigate on your own.
Today's ride is the Non-Throbbing Thigh Thriller. This is a VBC Classic that used to be ridden every other Thursday. This scenic route on mostly rural roads goes from Salmon Creek to Battle Ground. You get to ride Heart Attack Hill and have the option climb 29th Ave (which we will bypass). This is a great training ride. Mostly flat with a couple of challenging hills.
Be ready to ride 5 minutes before the scheduled departure time! We will leave ON TIME.
