Bike Clark County is selling a brand new Astral Solstice wheelset (by Rolf Prima) at a special price for VBC members of $450. These wheels list for $800. 100% of the proceeds go to Bike Clark County. So you not only get a great wheelset you help support a great cause.

These would be a significant upgrade over the standard wheelset that come with most bikes.

The Solstice is one of the lightest alloy rims in the industry and are lighter than some carbon rims. So they are a great climbing wheel.

This is an alloy center lock disc wheelset with 12mm thru axle front and back, 100mm front and 142mm back spacing and a Shimano 11sp Hyperglide freehub.

The full details are below. Just reply to this email to contact Joe Cote about purchasing the wheels. The plan is to post these to Craigslist next week for $550.

Astral Solstice Wheelset
All Astral wheels (by Rolf Prima) are hand built in Eugene, Oregon

The Solstice is a light-weight wheel ready to climb. These come in lighter than many carbon wheelsets, without sacrificing durability.

The Stage 1 hubset is custom made for Astral Cycling to provide a reliable, strong and light wheelset option. They'll see you through all your adventures without breaking the bank.

This wheelset is not set up as Tubeless Ready, but can be converted by installing the proper rim tape.
