Hi all,
My name is Lauren Garetto and I am reaching out on behalf of the City of Vancouver's 192nd Ave project<https://beheardvancouver.civilspace.io/en/projects/192nd-avenue-project> team. We’re in the early design phase for safety and mobility improvements coming to 192nd Avenue — from NE 18th Street to SE 1st Street — and are looking for diverse community perspectives to help shape the final design.
We'd appreciate the opportunity to meet with the local biking community to collect feedback on the current design concept. Specifically, the design team would like to connect on a few key topics including:
* What challenges do cyclists face when utilizing roundabouts?
* Given what you know about the area, which multimodal design option best fits your travel needs?
* Do you have any other safety or access concerns that the current designs do not yet address?
If providing input on the future of this corridor is of interest to you, please let me know if you’re available for a virtual meeting during any of the following times next week.
