Here's what I've found so far: - Most of the changes are on the administrative side and should not impact the majority of members.
- I did notice one issue: the mobile/desktop views on my iPhone did not load properly initially. Closing all open browser windows and restarting the phone resolved the issue.
For Ride Leaders and Admins- Action Icons Replaced: Ride Leaders will notice that the small action icons used in lists (such as the Events Manager) have been replaced by a "Actions" dropdown menu, with all available actions spelled out.
- Event View Updates: Icons on the Event View now have text labels. When you click the Admin Options for an event, the icons along the top of the page have been replaced with labeled buttons.
Improvements to Discussion ForumsSeveral changes have been made to the Forums to make them easier to navigate and use: - Forum List Layout: The traditional list of forums has been replaced with a box menu format. Each box now clearly displays the forum title, description, an activity summary, and a button to view the forum.
- Threads List: The threads list within a forum has been updated. Various action icons have been replaced by labeled buttons, making navigation clearer.
- Post Actions: Similarly, the action icons within an individual post have been replaced by buttons at the bottom of the post. This should make it much easier to respond directly to a specific post within a thread.
- "Post Message" Form: The "Post Message" form has also been updated. The message text editor is clearer, and the attachment link (for initial posts and replies) is now a simple black paper clip located below the text editor.

Buddies -
I wanted to give you a heads up that ClubExpress will be releasing a BUNCH of changes to the software that runs our website on Monday, December 8th. According to what we've been told, it should only be behind-the-scenes "admin" functions that are changing so you probably won't even notice a difference!
The one place where you might see changes is on the login screen. No functionality will change (as far as we know!), but the layout, fonts, buttons, etc. may look different.
If you encounter any issues on Monday (or in the days afterward), please send email to webmaster@vbc-usa.com to let us know! Since I'm currently in a completely different time zone, sending email to the webmaster alias will be the quickest way to get any problems resolved.
