There is a bunch of chip seal work going on around Ridgefield. Hillhurst was chip sealed yesterday and they plan to sweep up today or tomorrow. But 31st is also being done and 61st (parallel to Kreiger) was being done today.
We also have encountered lots of new chip seal on 239th between Ridgefield and Battle Ground - and they were laying new chip seal in the area Tuesday.
Just be prepared to encounter chip seal issues if you are riding in the Ridgefield and West Battle Ground areas in the next few days.
