Hello everyone and welcome to a new year!
Just a friendly reminder that our first club meeting is next Wednesday January 8th from 5-7pm at the Aero room. There's plenty of seats left so please log onto the VBC website and find the link on the calendar to register. Registering helps with providing enough food for this event, which will be pizza from Bartolami's.
The meeting will start off with guest speakers from a local bicycle advocacy group, Cycle Vancouver, working to make roads and paths more favorable to riding as well as road safety. The vote for the new 2025 Board members will be next. And then Mary will present all of the ride leader awards, so I would like all of the ride leaders to be there to be recognized. Finally we will end with the presentation of Outstanding Service and New Member Awards.
