It’s time to ride to the Tulips!  There is no official festival this year so that means less traffic.

When: Sunday, at 10:00 am
Where: Meet at Woodland Park and Ride on the West side of I-5, Woodland Exit.  Turn left off the freeway ramp, about 1/2 mile on your left.
What: 18-20 mile flat ride out and around the Columbia River and Lewis River, (sure to see birds and wildlife).
How Fast:  14 mph at the beginning, going through town, then as fast as you want on the straightaways on Dike Road.  Although you’ll miss all the birds if you go too fast.

Join us for a group ride out to the Woodland Tulip Festival which includes annual blooming tulip fields, display garden, gift shop and more. Check out the Holland America Bulb Farms Web site for all of the events.

We’ll stop at the Holland America Bulb Farm to ooh and ahh over the tulips and then do a short out and back to the N. Fork of the Lewis River boat launch.  If you want more miles or flowers you can visit the Hulda Klager Lilac Garden in Woodland.

Unfortunately, there are no restrooms at the start of the ride.  (Unless that has changed since last year). Turn right to visit Burgerville at the end of the freeway ramp if needed.
