Details:

We’ll depart from the parking lot behind the old Vancouver Library, and follow our Frenchman’s Bar Route out to Frenchman’s Bar Park.  We should arrive at the park easily before 10am.  We’ll hang out together at the park and view the eclipse, departing whenever you would like (perhaps 10:30 ish), for the ride back to the start. 

View the eclipse from a beautiful setting with friends, and avoid getting stuck in your car somewhere!

Notes:

Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign up and be a part of the announcements and safety briefing. Riders are expected to have read the Safe Riding Policyand be familiar with the Ride Style Definitions. Please direct questions to the ride leader or Road Captain. Helmets are required. Lights (front and rear), RoadIDs and cell phones are recommended. Please make sure to print a ride cue sheet, if you need one. Make sure your bike is in good working order. Riders should be able to maintain the stated pace. Please communicate with the leader if you decide to go off route or not return to the start.
