Are you riding in The Ride to Defeat ALS? This ride is for you! Haven't yet signed up? There's still time. Join us for this ride and check out this link to get signed up! The ride begins at Clark College and follows the "RACC Route" to Lacamas Lake for rest stop #1. The route then takes us north...following the RACC route for a while. Then, it veers off taking the popular northbound road: "The Ditch". Rest stop #2 will be at the Battle Ground library. We will then head west for a short while, before heading south to complete the ride back to Clark College. Route: Ride with GPS Link Please note: - Starting Location: Hanna Hall (Clark College) - same start as the RACC: 8:30am! - Rest Stop #1: 15 miles - (Lacamas Lake) - Rest Stop #2: 34 miles- Battle Ground Library (in the BG Village)
Notes:
Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign up and be a part of the announcements and safety briefing. Riders are expected to have read the Safe Riding Policyand be familiar with the Ride Style Definitions. Please direct questions to the ride leader or Road Captain. Helmets are required. Lights (front and rear), RoadIDs and cell phones are recommended. Please make sure to print a ride cue sheet, if you need one. Make sure your bike is in good working order. Riders should be able to maintain the stated pace. Please communicate with the leader if you decide to go off route or not return to the start.
