OK, maybe not thousands, but there were at least ten of us working today. We spent a couple hours raking leaves, cutting back ivy, and generally making the I-205 bike path pretty. Many thanks to Jan, Mary, Laird, Dennis, Mary Ann, Joe, Deb, Kurt, and to anyone I didn't catch on my sign-up sheet. And extra thank-yous to my wife Diane for coming down and really scraping at the edges of the path where it's gotten buried in dirt.
It's not 100% (there are still more leaves to fall) but the bike path is lots better than when we started.
